Overall I was satisfied with the fit of parts . I was very unhappy with the tune portion of the kit. I was sold a sotf but when I went to install the software I find out I only had the option of level 2 due to my truck is a cab and chassis. I was never told this ! So all I really got was a measly 40hp. Also the truck now has a really bad hesitation under acceleration. This was not at all the performance increase I was looking for!

Diesel performance tuning is highly vehicle-specific, and unfortunately, some cab-and-chassis configurations impose hardware/ECM restrictions that prevent full tune activation. To address your performance concerns: The CCV reroute kit you purchased primarily resolves oil aerator issues and crankcase pressure, but it’s only one component of a holistic performance system. For meaningful power gains (30%+), three core systems need optimization:

EGR System: Recirculated exhaust gases lower combustion chamber temperatures but also reduce oxygen density. Our EGR Delete Kit eliminates this limitation, improving airflow efficiency by 15-20%.
DPF/DEF Systems: While designed for emissions compliance, these components create significant exhaust backpressure. At low RPMs, this restricts turbo spool and causes the hesitation you described. Removing them with our DPF/DEF Delete Kit restores exhaust flow dynamics.
Tuning Synergy: Full power potential requires custom tuning calibrated to modified hardware. Our team would be happy to revisit your setup with a vehicle-specific tune that accounts for your cab-and-chassis configuration.
