A: Simply plug it into your vehicle’s OBD-II port (under the dashboard). It instantly prevents the engine from switching to 4-cylinder mode, eliminating vibration and power loss.

1. With the engine off, plug the AFM Disabler device into the OBD-II port located under the dash on the driver’s side.
2. When plugged-in, the AFM Disabler device should illuminate with a blue light.
3. If the blue lights do not turn on, please check the OBD-II fuse (sometimes the same as the cigarette lighter).
4. The Range device will work whenever the vehicle is running.

• If your vehicle is not a daily driver, please un-install the AFM Disabler device if the vehicle will sit for more than 3-4 days.
