Q: How do I install the EGR Eliminator?

A:

  1. Disconnect the EGR valve wiring harness and clean the connector.
  2. Insert the Eliminator firmly until the locking tab clicks. Secure it with tape/zip ties to prevent vibration.

5. Legal & Compliance Notes

Q: Is this device legal for street use?

A: No. Federal law prohibits disabling emission controls on public roads. This product is strictly for off-road/race applications. 

1. Disconnect wiring harness from EGR valve sensor and assure that connector isclean and not corroded. Dielectric grease inside the connector is normal andshould not be removed.

2. Firmly insert the EGR Eliminator into the wiring harness until locking tab locks toassure a good connection. Using electrical tape or a zip tie, secure the EGREliminator and wiring harness to a solid object, such as a nearby wiring harnessto prevent the EGR Eliminator from bouncing and creating a bad connection inthe future.

3. Start the vehicle and check to assure the CEL (Check Engine Light) is notilluminated. If the EGR Eliminator has a bad connection or has not been properlyinstalled, the CEL light should immediately illuminate upon start-up and remainon.



NOTE: After the EGR Eliminator is installed, when checking computer codes it is normalto receive a code 33 / 332. Although this code exists, it will not trigger the CEL unlessother codes are also present.

Egr delete

Glad to have that installed. Let computer drain down battery disconnected overnite. Seams to help the warm up surging issue I had that is going away, x cam is idle ing at 900 and runs great.
