    1. Product Functionality

Q: What does this EGR simulator kit do?

A: This kit eliminates EGR system errors by replacing the EGR valve sensor with a simulator. It prevents Check Engine Lights (CEL) caused by EGR issues while maintaining off-road performance.

Q: Will this kit work on my Ford Mustang 5.0L V8 (1994–1995)?

    A: Yes. It’s specifically designed for Ford Mustang 5.0L V8 (1994–1995), F150 4.9L L6 (1987–1996), and Bronco 5.8L V8 (1986–1987).

    2. Materials & Durability

Q: What material is the block off plate made of?

A: The plate is CNC-machined from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum, ensuring resistance to warping or deformation under high temperatures.

Q: Is this kit durable for long-term use?

A: Yes. The aluminum construction and plug-and-play design ensure reliability in off-road/racing conditions.

    3. Installation & Compatibility

Q: How do I install the EGR simulator?

A: Basic tools (screwdriver, electrical tape) are sufficient. No welding or cutting required.

    4. Legal & Warranty

Q: Is this kit legal for street use?

A: No. Federal law prohibits disabling emissions systems on public roads. For off-road/race use only.

    EGR Cutout

Even before I purchased this, I was experiencing minor hesitation issues without the Check Engine Light. Also since I purchased this truck 4 yrs back, as I type this out, I had to replace the EGR within 3 months. Other vehicles owned with EGR have not experienced this level of issue when the code was checked on the CEL. Now I have been living with the EGR issue in recent months this time, until I determined what steps I wanted to take to permanently resolve this. After weeks of searching, and no real difference between everyone I looked at on the web, and it kinda was a no brainer, spend the money on a new EGR valve, or spend the same amount and eliminate, in essence bypass the valve emission system all together, especially since this truck at 35 years is not required emissions check in this state at 25 years.
My apologies for taking this much time to respond. The block off plate in this kit for my truck is not necessary. The plug on the sensor was removed, the slave was set, the wiring harness secured to a location out of the way of any issue, CEL cleared. After 3 days with some minor hesitation issues still existing, it was determined the vacuum line originally left alone might need to be plugged. To conclude since the vacuum line was plugged there were no signs of hesitation from standing start or any driving conditions requiring further increased pressure on the gas.
Thank you I am pleased with the response, the resolution of the EGR issue, full stop...

    Egr simulator

Currently involved in a frame up restoration so I can't rate the operation of the simulator other than it does plug in. Block off plate is excellent in looks and fitment.

    Nice product, wrong bolt threads

Product shipped quickly and product is nice, only issue was I had to use the old bolts from the EGR valve because the bolts sent to me in this kit were the wrong thread.
