Compatibility

Which Ford models are compatible with this combo kit?

This combo kit is compatible with Ford 6.0L V8 Diesel Turbo Engines in the following models: 2003 - 2007 F250, F350, F450, F550; 2003 - 2007 Excursion; and 2005 - 2010 E-Series Vans. It is specifically designed to fit these Ford F-Series Super Duty and Excursion models with 6.0L engines.

Will this combo kit fit my 2008 Ford F250 with a 6.0L engine?

No, this combo kit is designed for 2003 - 2007 Ford F250 models with 6.0L engines. It may not be compatible with the 2008 model due to potential differences in engine specifications and components. We recommend checking the compatibility of each part with your specific vehicle model before purchase.

Installation

Is professional installation required for this combo kit?

Yes, professional installation is highly recommended for both the EGR Bypass and Delete Kit and the Turbocharger Y-Pipe Up-Pipe Kit. The EGR bypass kit does not require the removal of the turbo, intake manifold, or up-pipe, but it still involves complex modifications to the engine's EGR system. The turbocharger Y-pipe up-pipe installation also requires precision and knowledge of the vehicle's engine layout. Improper installation can lead to performance issues or even damage to your vehicle.

Are there any instructions included with the combo kit?

No, the EGR Bypass and Delete Kit does not come with installation instructions. Given the complexity of the modifications involved, we strongly advise seeking the help of a professional mechanic who has experience with similar engine upgrades. For the Turbocharger Y-Pipe Up-Pipe Kit, while basic installation knowledge may be sufficient for some experienced DIYers, professional installation is still recommended to ensure proper fit and function.

Performance and Functionality

What are the main benefits of installing this combo kit?

Installing this combo kit offers several significant benefits. The EGR Bypass and Delete Kit completely replaces the factory EGR system, which can improve engine performance by eliminating the restrictions and potential issues associated with the EGR system. It also helps reduce exhaust gas recirculation, leading to cleaner combustion and potentially better fuel efficiency. The Turbocharger Y-Pipe Up-Pipe Kit, with its high-quality materials and built-in flex pipes, enhances the durability of the turbocharger system and deletes the factory EGR port, further optimizing engine performance. Overall, this combo kit can increase power output, improve throttle response, and enhance the overall driving experience.

Will installing this combo kit affect my vehicle's emissions?

Yes, installing the EGR Bypass and Delete Kit will disable the factory EGR system, which is designed to reduce emissions by recirculating a portion of the exhaust gases back into the engine. As a result, your vehicle may no longer comply with emissions regulations in some areas. It's important to note that all DPF/EGR-OFF tuning products, including the EGR bypass kit in this combo, are strictly for race use only. Using them on public roads where emissions regulations apply may be illegal.
